Christine was born in Colorado, the same year that our co-op was founded. Definitely a good year! Christine brings her creations to life from her home studio. Her favorite way to work is on her kickwheel, which is not fast, but is nearly silent. She also has an electric wheel which she uses to work outside during warmer months and enjoy her family's happy urban homestead that includes chickens, ducks, bees, and a giant veggie garden. Her favorite technique is slip trailing, a process of drawing with thick liquid clay to create one-of-a-kind surface designs. We can't get enough of her beautiful designs.
