As a self taught artist, Efrat has known since she was young that she was meant to create, there were no questions about it. She doesn’t just create for the sake of art, Efrat lives her whole life creatively. She believes if you live a creative life on all levels, then you will live a beautiful, inspiring, and unique life that represents the authentic you. The inspiration for her work comes mostly from nature, living in Colorado, and her formal European garden. Efrat’s work mostly happens spontaneously, she let’s the work dictate the direction she takes especially when working with alcohol ink. The media has a mind and life of its own, and that’s why she loves working with it.
