Shana creates vibrantly-colored and playfully-balanced functional ceramic plates, mugs, teapots, bowls, and more. She has been working with clay since 1990, including time spent as a student, small business owner, and faculty member. She specializes in asymmetrically balanced forms that she often decorates with pleasantly contrasting colors. Her favorites colors to include are purple and dark red, but bright greens and blues often make an appearance too.
